Appointment Policies

Last Updated: 8/23/2026

These policies apply to all guests and members booking appointments at Earth Nail Spa. For billing, freeze and cancellation of a membership, see our Membership Policies.

1. Appointments & Walk-Ins
  • We run by appointment — we’re not taking walk-ins right now, since demand keeps the book full.
  • You can book in the Earth Nail Spa app or through the Member Login tab on this website, and booking ahead is the surest way to get the time you want.
  • The Serenity Room is the exception — it’s open to you any time, no appointment needed.
  • Earth Nail Spa reserves the right to refuse service to any guest at its sole discretion.
2. Cancellations, Changes & Late Arrivals

We ask for 48 hours’ notice for any change to your appointment. A $25 fee per base service applies in the situations below — that’s one $25 fee for each manicure or pedicure booked.

Cancelling or changing your appointment

  • You can cancel or reschedule in the app any time up to 48 hours before your appointment, at no charge.
  • Changes, cancellations and reschedules made inside 48 hours carry the fee.
  • A missed appointment is a no-show, and it carries the fee as well.

Arriving late

  • There’s a 10-minute grace period, and arriving late on its own carries no fee. If you arrive within those 10 minutes, we’ll do our best to adjust your services and take care of you in the time that’s left.
  • If there isn’t enough time to do that and the appointment has to be cancelled, the $25 fee per base service applies.

Settling a fee

  • Once any outstanding fee or balance is settled in the app, you’re able to book again and use your membership benefits.
  • Repeated late cancellations and no-shows may lead to restricted booking privileges or a membership review.
  • A service we modify or decline for health and safety reasons is not a cancellation, and no fee applies.
3. Payments & Gratuity
  • A 20% gratuity is applied at checkout. 100% of it goes to your nail artist.
  • Gratuity is calculated on the menu price of the services in your appointment that day, including services that are included with a membership.
  • Gratuity applies to services only. It is never added to a cancellation, no-show, or payment decline fee.
  • No gratuity is applied to a repair we cover at no charge. If we are putting something right, you are not tipping us for it.
  • Services booked without a membership are paid in full at the time of service.
  • If anything about your service isn’t right, tell us at checkout, before you leave — we’ll make it right, including removing that visit’s gratuity.
4. Waitlist
  • Our waitlist runs on a daily basis, and you can create customized entries in the app for multiple days.
  • When an opening becomes available, everyone on the waitlist is notified at the same time. Openings are first come, first served — the first guest to book the slot gets it, so we recommend booking as soon as you see the notification.
5. Nail Repair Policy

If a nail chips, lifts, breaks, or comes off between visits, book a Nail Repair in the Earth Nail Spa app. You’ll be asked a few quick questions and can add a photo, which helps us set aside the right amount of time for you.

Repairs on us

Within two weeks of your service, your technician will take a look. If the nail didn’t hold because of how it was applied, the repair is on us at no charge, and no gratuity is applied. That includes:

  • Lifting at the cuticle or along the sides
  • The enhancement peeling away in one piece or in sheets
  • A tip coming off cleanly, with no knock or impact to it
  • A finish that stayed soft, tacky, bubbled, or dented easily
  • Chipping in the first few days on a nail that hasn’t taken any damage
  • A nail that snapped at a thin or uneven spot
  • A tip that wasn’t the right size or shape for your nail

Repairs that are charged

Some things sit outside what an application can control. Those are booked as a Nail Repair, $15 on our Services page and included with membership. That includes:

  • A nail that took a knock, bend, or catch, leaving a crack, split, or bent tip
  • Picking, peeling, or biting the enhancement off
  • Filing, trimming, or removing it at home, or using acetone or a store-bought remover
  • Nails worked on elsewhere since your visit
  • Polish or top coat applied over your service
  • A length or style chosen against your technician’s recommendation for your routine
  • Ordinary growth and wear as the set grows out

When a full service is needed instead

  • After two weeks. By then the whole set has grown and worn together, so a single repair won’t blend or last. Book a full manicure or pedicure rather than a repair.
  • More than three nails. Once more than three are affected, repairing them one at a time won’t match the rest of your set, so we’ll redo it properly.

Before you come in

Please leave the nail as it is. Filing it down, picking at it, or removing it makes it much harder for your technician to see what happened, and that look is what decides the repair.

  • If something isn’t right before you leave, tell us at checkout that day. We’d always rather fix it while you’re still with us.
